Electrophysiological Tests

The Electrocochleography test is an objective measure of the electrical potentials generated in the inner ear as a result of sound stimulation. This test is most often used to determine if the inner ear (cochlea) has an excessive amount of fluid pressure. This test is used to confirm the presence of Meniere’s Disease by calculating the SP/AP ratio.

Auditory Brainstem Responses are responses of the Auditory areas in the brain. This test is used to assess the functioning of Auditory Nerve & Auditory pathways. Widely used in Newborns & children. The following tests are performed in our clinics
  • Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA)
  • Auditory Steady State Responses(ASSR)
  • Middle & Late Latency Responses(MLR, LLR)
  • Electrocochleogram (EcochG)
